Start Date: Start to mid April 2025
Working Hours: 5 days per week, 8.30am-8.30pm.
Duties: Focussing on taking care of baby: the nanny will engage, entertain and cognitively develop baby during the day, implement consistent nap-time routine that adapts to the baby's age, keep baby fed: mum is breastfeeding and pumps milk for bottle feeds, wind, change and settle baby as needed, keep baby’s fingers & toe nails filed to ensure no scratching, record all actions related to the baby in the Huckleberry app. A nanny who has experience caring for a small baby who is breastfeeding and knows how to support mum during feeds is appreciated. As is a nanny with experience weaning baby onto solid foods.
Nursery duties: keeping baby’s clothes, towels, muslins, bed-sheets, blankets etc clean, keeping nappy changing stations prepared, keeping baby’s room & cupboards organised and tidy, regularly sterilising all bottles, pumps & other items (e.g. teething toys), do baby's laundry & ironing as needed, keeping the kitchen and living areas tidy after baby play.
A nanny who is happy to prepare dinner from a set recipe box service ready for 7pm each evening is appreciated.
Travel: The family do need to travel frequently for work conferences or for vacations and would like their nanny to accompany them.
Accommodation: A live out nanny, already based in Malta will be well thought of, alternatively a separate bedroom and bathroom within the family home can be provided, the family are happy to support the nanny should she wish to secure live out accommodation nearby once the probationary period is passed.
Salary: £800 net per week negotiable, dependent on experience and qualifications of the nanny.

The chosen candidate will use their experience and knowledge from their professional training to devise educational activities for the eldest around her pre-school hours. The nanny will make her breakfast in the mornings, mum will take her to and from pre-school which she will attend at the international school nearby from 8am - 12pm during the week. The nanny will plan activities and topics of learning for the little girl for the afternoon whilst she is at pre-school, taking care of any nursery duties during this time (including the children's laundry, keeping their spaces tidy and cooking for the eldest) the nanny will then assist with settling her for her nap after pre-school, encourage good manners by sitting with her for all of her snacks and meals, take her for outings and walks, engage her in learning opportunities and manage her dinner, bath and bed schedule.
Eventually the nanny will also care for the youngest child after the family's maternity nurse's booking is finished in August 2025 - the baby will be just over 1 year old then. • Complete care from A-Z, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and all personal care needs
• Coordinate with his physical therapist to understand his goals and incorporate them into his daily routines
• Provide structured activities that support his development and independence
• Prepare meals for him and ensure proper nutrition
• Administer medication and manage his healthcare routine as directed
• Manage his schedule, including therapy appointments, recreational activities, and other engagements
• Travel with the family as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for him
