PLACED | Battersea | Qualified French Speaking Teacher Sought | Flexible Start Date
A professional single-parent family residing in Battersea is looking to welcome a highly skilled French-speaking Nanny/Governess, with a teaching background, to provide exceptional care and educational guidance for their 4-year-old son.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Flexibility to work every other Saturday is a plus and will be valued.
School Hours: The child’s school day runs from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Primary Responsibilities: The Nanny/Governess will play a central role in the child's education and development, with duties that include:
Managing daily school drop-offs and pickups.
Setting and maintaining consistent boundaries.
Using expertise in French education to support the child's learning across various subjects, including daily homework help.
Reinforcing the child’s Kumon studies in Math and English as needed.
Encouraging positive values like confidence, integrity, and a strong work ethic to align with parental goals.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a formal educational background with a proven record in early childhood teaching and childcare.
Additional Duties: Some light nursery duties, such as meal preparation for the child and laundry assistance, are part of the role.
Accommodation Options: A live-in arrangement with separate apartment-style housing is available, though live-out candidates fluent in French are also welcome to apply.
Compensation: A highly competitive salary of £1,000 - £1,200 net per week is on offer for the ideal candidate.
