Paris 6th | English and French Speaking Nanny Sought | Mid-March 2025
A British family, known to the agency, and living in the 6th arrondissement of Paris are looking for a bilingual French/English speaking nanny to look after their little boy, born in December 2024.
The family are currently employing a Nannies Incorporated maternity nurse who will be working for them until the 15th of March 2025.
The mother will be going back to work early April 2025.
Both parents are bilingual in French and English and speak in English to their little boy. Ideally, the nanny will be speaking French to the little boy.
The nanny will be working 10 hours a day from 8:30am to 6.30pm, 5 days a week.
She will also accompany the family on holidays 12 weeks per year and she will work 10 hours a day, 5 days per week. As she will be with the family, she will have to be compensated for her time at night (€80 per night).
The family may ask for one babysitting per week.
In her daily work, the nanny will take responsibility for the physical, emotional, intellectual and social development of the little boy. She will promote a happy, caring and interesting environment him to thrive. She will also promote his education and knowledges in various subjects.
Duties include nursery duties, i.e. all aspects of childcare such as overseeing all daily activities, organising play dates, preparing his meals, bathing, keeping his bedroom tidy and any other childcare duties there may be.
The nanny will be offered 5 weeks paid holidays taken outside of the family holidays. Usually, one week is given at Christmas, three weeks during summer and the remaining one is “floating”.
The position is offered on a live-out basis.
Salary : €3,700/€3,900
