A returning client of ours, based in Salwa, Kuwait, is seeking a French-speaking nanny to join their fully staffed household in September 2025. This position centres around the care and development of their delightful 5-year-old daughter, with additional light oversight of her two older brothers, aged 12 and 9.
Role Focus:
The nanny’s primary responsibility will be the family's youngest child, a bright and affectionate little girl who thrives with positive attention and engaging interaction. The ideal nanny will bring warmth, creativity, and structure to her day—helping her get ready for school, managing her afternoon routines, and planning thoughtful educational and play-based activities to nurture her language skills and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the 5-year-old for her school day and accompany the driver for her drop-off and pick-up
Plan and lead fun, enriching activities to support her development and French language acquisition
Coordinate with the household team to ensure her meals, wardrobe, and after-school schedule are in order
Provide gentle guidance and interaction throughout the day, creating a warm and stimulating environment
Support older siblings (ages 9 and 12) with light supervision of homework and routines as needed
Schedule & Environment:
Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
Hours: 12 hours per day
Down Time: All three children attend school from 7.30am-2.30pm during the week, allowing time for planning and preparation during the day
The household is fully staffed. Collaboration with the chef, drivers, and other team members is essential
No nursery duties required
Candidate Requirements:
Native French speaker with fluent English (the family and household staff communicate in English)
Experience caring for young children, with a nurturing, energetic and educational approach
Team player with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
Positive, proactive, and polished in presentation
Travel & Accommodation:
International travel expected, including summer holidays in Los Angeles, New Year trips, and spring getaways
Private, furnished apartment located a short walk from the family home
A personal car can be provided upon request
Compensation:
Salary: £1,100 net per week, dependent on experience and qualifications
Start Date: September 2025
