Malta | Full Time Baby Nanny Sought | April Start Date
A friendly family are moving to Malta in April 2025 and are searching for a friendly nanny to join them in caring for their baby boy, who will be around 4 months old at this time.
Both parents work from home.
Start Date: Start to mid April 2025
Working Hours: 5 days per week, 8.30am-8.30pm.
Duties: Focussing on taking care of baby: the nanny will engage, entertain and cognitively develop baby during the day, implement consistent nap-time routine that adapts to the baby's age, keep baby fed: mum is breastfeeding and pumps milk for bottle feeds, wind, change and settle baby as needed, keep baby’s fingers & toe nails filed to ensure no scratching, record all actions related to the baby in the Huckleberry app. A nanny who has experience caring for a small baby who is breastfeeding and knows how to support mum during feeds is appreciated. As is a nanny with experience weaning baby onto solid foods.
Nursery duties: keeping baby’s clothes, towels, muslins, bed-sheets, blankets etc clean, keeping nappy changing stations prepared, keeping baby’s room & cupboards organised and tidy, regularly sterilising all bottles, pumps & other items (e.g. teething toys), do baby's laundry & ironing as needed, keeping the kitchen and living areas tidy after baby play.
A nanny who is happy to prepare dinner from a set recipe box service ready for 7pm each evening is appreciated.
Travel: The family do need to travel frequently for work conferences or for vacations and would like their nanny to accompany them.
Accommodation: A live out nanny, already based in Malta will be well thought of, alternatively a separate bedroom and bathroom within the family home can be provided, the family are happy to support the nanny should she wish to secure live out accommodation nearby once the probationary period is passed.
Salary: £800 net per week negotiable, dependent on experience and qualifications of the nanny.
