A Bahraini/Saudi family living in France are looking for an English-speaking maternity nurse to help then at the birth of their fourth child, a baby girl, due on the 22nd of September.
Even though the due date is on the 22nd of September, the mother is certain that she will give birth around two weeks earlier.
The mother speaks fluent French, but not the rest of the family. Therefore, speaking a very good English is mandatory.
The mother will give birth in Geneva, but lives in France, in Divonne les Bains.
The mother describes her family as being more European than Arabic when it comes to be involved in the children’s daily care.
The family would like the maternity nurse to work 7 days a week. However, they are open for the maternity nurse to work 6 days a week. The maternity nurse will have 4 hours break per day.
The mother is very hands-on and would like the maternity nurse to be very experienced, hard-working, but at the same time nice, kind and friendly, with a good energy.
The maternity nurse will have a private bedroom and bathroom within the house. She will share it with the baby on her working days and will have access to the guest room on her day off or for her rest.
The maternity nurse will be responsible for:
Help with bottle feeding.
Offer advice and support to the mother. Encourage regular rest and meals to ensure a speedy recovery of the mother.
Take responsibility for baby's safety and well-being during working hours.
Take care of feeding and putting in place appropriate feeding routines, including nighttime meals.
Establish good sleep habits adapted to the baby's age.
Stimulation and support for its development.
Take baby for walks and other activities agreed with the parents (expenses are the responsibility of the parents).
Keep clothes, bedding and areas used for baby care tidy, clean and in hygienic condition.
Make medical appointments for the baby at the parents' request.
Salary: €380 per 24 hours worked.
Please note that only EU passport holders will be considered for this position.
