BOOKED | Chislehurst, London | 2 Month Maternity Nurse Booking | End of Jan 2025 Start Date
A friendly Chinese family living in Chislehurst, expecting their 1st baby at the end of January 2025, are searching for a maternity nurse to join them in caring for their newborn due end of January 2025.
Start Date: Approximately mid - end January 2025
Length of Booking: 2 months
Working Hours: 24 hours, 6 days per week. A minimum of 4 hours consecutive break will be provided on working days.
Duties: All duties relating to caring for baby including assisting with feeding baby, sterilising all feeding equipment as needed, changing baby, dressing baby and generally soothing and caring for baby. Supporting mum post-partum is also part of the descriptions. The parents are of Asian heritage and would appreciate a maternity nurse with an open mind about traditional practices for the post-partum period. Assisting parents with navigating the British healthcare system is also appreciated. As such this would be a great position for a candidate with a nursing or midwifery background. All nursery duties relating to baby are also required including doing baby's laundry, keeping baby's spaces tidy and assisting with changing baby's bedding as needed.
Accommodation: A separate room is provided for the maternity nurse's daily break and day off.
Salary: Usual maternity nurse daily rates would be considered of around £350 per working day.
This is a lovely position for a warm, calm, experienced maternity nurse with good knowledge of the British healthcare system and an open minded to traditions in the post-natal period.
