A friendly multilingual family is currently searching for an educationally focussed nanny to join them from the start of November (ASAP) in London to help them care for their 4-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy. The family is expecting a new baby soon but the nanny will be responsible for the care and education of the older children.
The family would like the nanny to work Monday - Friday from 12 noon - 8 pm.
The family employs a housekeeper who takes care of most nursery duties. However, the nanny will be expected to cook fresh, healthy meals for the children and herself on a daily basis.
The family speaks several languages at home and would like their nanny to have an excellent command of English to help their children develop their language skills. This position would suit a nanny who has experience assisting young children with their homework and learning and can follow a well-established daily routine.
There is plenty of opportunities to plan the children's healthy meals whilst they are at school/nursery and mum is happy for nanny to decide on what to cook and create the weekly menu independently. After food preparation, the nanny will be asked to pick the children up from their nearby school/nursery, listen to reading/help with homework, and accompany them to any after-school activities already organized. Their evening routine includes a healthy dinner, bath, and bedtime.
The family is happy to provide a separate apartment for the successful candidate nearby the family home.
A competitive salary of around £900 net per week is being offered.

Both, parents and children are bilingual. They are preferably looking for a French speaking nanny with a good knowledge of English. Parents are also open to the idea of employing an English speaking nanny with a good knowledge of French.
The nanny will work from 7am to 12pm and from 4pm to 8pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays will be spent in the family chalet. The days off will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The mother is a stay-at-home mother, very busy with the children and with her sports and social activities. The father is a textile internet entrepreneur and very busy with his duties.
Two Filipino nannies are already employed by the family, along with other staff and they will remain.
Parents want the nanny to be experienced, trustworthy, educated and able to work as a team with the other two nannies employed by the family. The nanny will have no housework or cooking duties but should be ready to help if necessary.
The nanny should be able to stimulate the children by using common sense on a daily basis. Ideally she will have a cheerful, benevolent personality and will be dynamic. As the children are very energetic, the nanny should also be and should enjoy outdoor activities, playing, painting, making collages, baking etc.
The children take piano lessons. If the nanny is a fan of music, this would be a plus.
The 4-year-old needs someone very patient to take care of her because she has a small developmental delay, which does not prevent her from going to school.
The nanny should be comfortable with the Canadian cold and, if possible, a good skier. The family travels a lot and the nanny will have to accompany the family when she travels to various countries such as Turkey, France, Italy, Caribbean, St Martin, Miami etc.
The nanny will not be responsible for the needs of the parents.
The family is offering a salary of € 1,200 net per week/ 5,100 net per month.
From an administrative point of view, the family undertakes to take care of the administrative formalities for obtaining the work permit. The nanny will be affiliated with the Canadian social security.
Four weeks of holidays will be offered to the nanny. The nanny will be offered one return trip per year to France.
