Dubai | Qualified Permanent Nanny Sought | Flexible Start Date
A vibrant, friendly family based in Dubai, are searching for a nanny to join them in caring for their 3 month old baby daughter.
The family desires a candidate who is positive, outgoing, playful and imaginative, yet organized, courteous and well-versed in manners and etiquette. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for children and a penchant for the outdoors.
Mom works from home and is actively involved in caring for the baby, so the position will be on a shared charge basis. Hence a flexible approach and an easy-going, patient demeanour would be best suited for the job.
Proficiency in children development, at least 2-3 years of experience with newborns to five year old’s, driving license and healthy cooking skills are required. Norland or children development/psychology credentials are considered a plus.
Working Hours 10-12 hours 5 days a week when in Dubai plus 2 nights babysitting.
Duties: Creating a warm and stimulating environment with love, excitement, affection, care and lots of conversation; Taking care of all nursery duties such as keeping baby's areas tidy and organised, and supporting with early developmental stages such as weaning and toilet-training; Organising creative educational activities at home such as games, drawing and crafting, reading, baking; Organising outdoor activities and fostering a strong connection with nature; Organising and taking the child to playdates, school, extracurricular activities, sports sessions, and outings to promote physical fitness and social interaction; Caring for the child when unwell and taking the child to the doctor, if necessary; Organizing birthdays and other events, applying for nurseries, booking appointments, shopping; Providing an education that incorporates cultural awareness and polite behaviour; Menu planning, preparing healthy and nutritious meals and feeding.
Travel: The family travel for around 3 months of the year to various exciting locations worldwide, they would like their nanny to accompany them and on these trips the nanny will be working 6 days per week and sometimes covering baby's care at night too.
Location and accommodation: A live out candidate can be considered or a live in arrangement can be provided in the form of a guest room within the family home or possibly a nearby separate accommodation. The family lives in one of the most vibrant and exclusive areas of Dubai, City Walk. Within walking distance you find the Coca Cola arena - concerts and events (2 minutes), restaurants and cafes (5 minutes), hospitals & clinics (5 minutes); gyms (7 minutes), the metro (10 minutes), Dubai Mall - the second largest mall in the world (20 minutes) and downtown (25 minutes). Modern glass buildings and city living give way to beautiful white sand beaches just a 15-minute drive away.
Salary: £900/£1,200 per week dependent on experience and qualifications.
A nanny who speaks Spanish, Arabic or another language in addition to English will be well thought of for the position.
