A professional single parent family, based in Battersea, is searching for a top notch French speaking Nanny/Governess to join them in assisting with the care and education of a 4 year old boy.
Working Hours: 7.30am - 6.30pm Monday - Friday. A candidate open to working alternate Saturdays would be very well thought off.
The little boy goes to school from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Duties: The nanny/governess will be focussed on educational and childcare duties, these include: dropping off and collecting the little boy from school each day; creating and enforcing clear boundaries; having a good knowledge and a track record of teaching children French and helping to support his homework and education daily in all subjects; He currently goes to Kumon for Maths and English and a teacher who can support this at home is appreciated. A nanny/governess who can support the parent's wish to encourage a good moral compass in their son is needed. Someone who can inspire great self-confidence but also a sense of right and wrong and a hard-working attitude.
The nanny must be qualified in education.
Some nursery duties do apply including cooking for the little boy and assisting with his laundry.
Accommodation: A live in arrangement can be considered for the right candidate, there is the option of a separated apartment type accommodation. A live out candidate who speaks native French will also be considered.
Salary: A top salary of £1,000 - £1,200 net per week is being offered for the right candidate.
This is a lovely position for a committed nanny/governess, happy to take charge of a young boy's education, care and development. The little boy's parent is keen for his French to continue to develop and for him to grow up well rounded and happy.
