A high-profile family living in Jordan is seeking an experienced, compassionate and qualified maternity nurse to provide expert care for their newborn baby girl born end of January 2025.
As first-time parents, they are looking for a professional who can offer guidance, support, and reassurance while respecting their parenting preferences. The maternity nurse must be able to listen to the parents’ concerns, collaborate with them on their baby’s care routine, and adapt to any changes that may arise.
The ideal candidate will highly knowledgeable about newborn care and will have extensive experience, ensuring the baby’s well-being, safety, and development.
Personality wise, the parents would like to hire someone warm compassionate, patient with emotional intelligence, calm, discreet, and trustworthy. Affective communication is another crucial aspect
The family lives in a luxurious accommodation and this is a fully staffed household. The maternity will be backed by a dedicated team and support staff, allowing her to focus on providing exceptional care with peace of mind.
While on duty, the maternity nurse will be sharing the baby’s room. While on her breaks/days off she will have her own separate double bedroom. She is responsible for cleaning and tidying the accommodation provided to her.
Responsibilities of the maternity nurse:
Provide comprehensive care for the newborn, ensuring her well-being, safety, and comfort.
Communicate effectively with the parents, providing reassurance, education, and advice while respecting their parenting preferences.
Establish and maintain healthy sleep and feeding routines, offering guidance to parents.
· Caring for the child when they are unwell, which may include administering medicine and taking them to the doctor if necessary and with the consent of parents
Being responsible for all equipment related to the care of the child, including the cleaning and maintenance of items such as sterilizers, buggies, car seats, etc.
Maintain and clean all baby-related equipment, including sterilizers, buggies, car seats, bottles, and nursery essentials.
The maternity nurse must be willing to travel with the family.
All travel, accommodation, and food expenses will be covered by the family.
Salary: £400/£450 per 24 hours worked.
