BOOKED | Monaco | Bilingual French/English Maternity Nurse | December 2023 Start Date
An international family living in Monaco is looking for a bilingual French/English maternity nurse to assist them after the birth of their little boy, due on the 1st of December 2023.
The family also have a 14-year-old daughter.
The mother does not work, and the father has a very demanding occupation and travels a lot. The maternity nurse will therefore spend a lot of time with the mother.
Ideally the maternity nurse will start on the 5th of December with some flexibility.
The family would like to hire a maternity nurse for 3 months (13 weeks from the 5th of Dec 23 to the 5th of March 2024).
The mother will most certainly have a C-section and will try to breastfeed. However, the baby boy will also be bottle-fed.
The maternity nurse will be working on a 24-hour cover, 6 days a week. The maternity nurse will be entitled to 4 hours break a day, usually in the afternoon.
The maternity nurse will use the guest bedroom and the baby will sleep in the same bedroom. On her time off, the baby will be in the parents’ bedroom (afternoons and day off).
As the placement will happen over the Christmas period, the family is happy to give the maternity nurse 3 days off to see her family if she wishes so.
Two housekeepers who come every day from 8am to 4pm are also employed. The family also employs a person who takes care of the laundry, and a driver/assistant.
The maternity nurse will help with breastfeeding or bottle feeding, offer advice and support to the mother, encourage regular rest and meals to ensure a speedy recovery of the mother, take responsibility for baby's safety and well-being during working hours, take care of feeding and putting in place appropriate feeding routines, including nighttime meals, establish good sleep habits adapted to the baby's age etc.
Salary: €350/€370 per 24 hours worked.
