BOOKED | Dubai & Malta | 6 Month Maternity Nurse Booking | December 2024 Start Date
A friendly French/Irish family, based between Dubai and Malta is searching for a maternity nurse to assist them with the care of their new baby.
French and English is spoken in the family home, a French speaking maternity nurse would be well thought of. The parents would consider it a plus to speak Italian or Spanish also.
Start Date: 1st December onwards.
Length of Booking: 6 months
The family will remain in Dubai for Christmas but would be happy to offer Christmas week off to the successful candidate. They do require their maternity nurse to work New Year's Eve and day.
Working Hours: 24/6 with a minimum of 4 hours break provided per day.
Duties: Everything relating to the new baby including advising on baby equipment, preparing baby's nursery, assisting with feeding (either bottle or breastfeeding or a combination), caring for baby's daily needs (changing, bathing etc), putting baby on a good path routine and sleep wise, adapting baby's routine as needed as baby grows, assisting mum with wardrobe management, working alongside other staff to ensure nursery duties are completed proficiently. Once baby begins to be ready for solid food, providing guidance on the introduction of this and communicating with other household staff about preparing baby food.
Liaising well with mum and dad regarding baby is important.
Accommodation: In Dubai this is a separate bedroom and bathroom within the family home. It has its own entrance and outdoor area and is in close proximity of the laundry and kitchen.
In Malta this is a separate room with a kitchen area etc. When travelling elsewhere a separate room will always be provided for maternity nurse.
Travel: There will be lots of travel between Malta and Dubai along with 2 weeks in France in the winter for ski season and travel in Italy and on your yacht in the warmer months.
Salary: £380 - £400 gbp per 24 hours.
An EU passport holder is a must for this family.
