BOOKED | Amsterdam | Maternity Nurse Sought for 3 Month Booking | September 2024 Start Date
An organised but easy going American family based in Amsterdam are searching for a maternity nurse to join them in caring for their 2nd baby due 11th September 2024.
Start Date: Ideally the maternity nurse would be available before that date in case baby comes early and happy to have a retainer set up arranged for 1 week or so previous to baby's due date. The family are also happy to consider maternity nurses available up to 20th September though.
Working Hours: 24/6 with a 4 hour break provided daily on working days.
Duties: All aspect of baby care including assisting with mum's feeding journey (she would like to breastfeed), changing baby, caring for baby overnight, sterilizing any baby equipment needed, bathing baby and guiding baby onto a good sleep pattern, ideally sleeping well by 12 weeks old. The family have an older child with their own nanny but would appreciate a maternity nurse who can support the children's bonding. Good knowledge of breastfeeding and supporting mum's post-partum is also useful.
Accommodation: A separate bedroom and bathroom is provided for the maternity nurse's use.
Salary: €350-€400 considered dependent upon qualifications and experience.
